Im not trying to be mean here but unless Im missing something I dont see any advantage to having this over the included Voice Memos app (at least it was included with my iPod Touch 4th gen, which is what this review is based on) and the incredibly awesome yet FREE Dragon Dict app. If this app did the same things as the aforementioned apps but in an easier fashion and/or with fewer steps, Id gladly give it higher ratings, but it doesnt, it just does the same things but a different way and IMO this app and its pay version are definitely inferior. The only thing unique here is the ring tones feature, but if that doesnt interest you then stick with Voice Memos and Dragon Dict.

Use is limited to short messages.

This app was amazing and so much fun until I clicked on info at the bottom right corner, while I was recording by accident! Now I cant even open it before I even see my recordings! I HAD VERY IMPORTANT RECORDINGS ON THIS! NOW I CANT SEE OR LISTEN TO THEM! VERY ANNOYING!!! Pls do not make the same mistake as me!!!!!

Dont even think about it, caf file can not be converted easily. I wish there was a no star option

The emailing feature doesnt work. I sent about seven coppies to my email. I even tried the email as ringtone option and still no email.

A lot of reviewers said that they would rather have the voice memos for iphone and ipod touch, but I got this app because I wanted to record stuff from my iPad, but the sound was kind of fuzzy so i would not recommend this app for anyone that wants to do something pro.

I list about 6 month of important recordings, this app. Is real crap. Wish i could put 0 stars.

I have a gigabyte of recordings that I cannot backup. QuickVoice only allows email transfer up to 5 MB maximum and inexplicably, no backup option in iTunes file sharing. Dumping this useless recorder for PureAudio.

My recordings are trapped in my iPad. I cant open the files after syncing to my PC using the developers sync app.

I managed to retrieve my recordings, but it was a cumbersome 3 step process that is poorly expalined and not very user friendly. Step 1 is a full iTunes backup, step 2 is an import via QV desktop app, step 3 is a file conversion to a compatible file format. You end up with 3 copies of the voice files, when you only need one. Also the file names do not match the time stamps that are displayed on the device.

The irecorder app is x10000 times better than this junk

This application only provides an email option for recordings, and there is a 5MB limit to that. So effectively anything over a few minutes long cannot easily be retrieved. Avoid.

Works as stated except near impossible to get recording off the iPad if it is more than 30 seconds long. I spent hours trying to get my recordings off my iPad. They were only 5 and 10 min long but exceeded the size restriction for transfer. Very very frustrating.
